Earl Rodgers decided to go into business for himself as a professional general
contractor after managing other construction companies for 25 years. On
May 13, 1976 he moved to 205 National Avenue
in West Terre Haute, and incorporated as Earl C. Rodgers & Associates, Inc. From
the very beginning, Rodgers wanted to specialize in the design/build concept of
construction. This would enable him to create a partnership between himself and
the owners - and allow him to build a relationship with the community he was and
still is serving.
Providing professional building services in a personal and dedicated manner
while at the same time putting the welfare and benefit of the customer above all
else, is what Earl C. Rodgers & Associates is all about. The motto chosen by
Rodgers at the firm's beginning was, "To God Be the Glory." That is still the
driving force behind all its activities and successes - honest, dedicated
service with unquestioned integrity.
The staff of Rodgers & Associates has more than 100 years of combined
experience. James Brown, Michael Stergar, Michael Shaw, and Rodgers himself make
up this highly qualified staff. Linda Shaw and Jennifer Beck serve as office
manager and controller. They take particular pride in the quality work performed
by their experienced field crews.
Perhaps you have driven by or seen first-hand some of their projects which
include: Express Marts in Terre Haute, West Terre Haute, and Marshall, Illinois,
Aramark Uniform Services, the 500 Express on Ohio Street, treatment centers of
Hamilton Center in Brazil, Clinton, Spencer, Linton, Rockville, and Terre Haute,
Honey Creek West, United Methodist Temple addition and renovation, Terre Haute
First National Bank branch in the Vigo County Industrial Park, Minton's
Taekwondo Family Center, VFW Post 972, Roselawn Funeral Home and Mausoleum, Open
Door Bookstore, and Foulkes Square to name a few.
The firm is a member of the Associated General Contractors of Indiana, the
Associated Building Contractors of Terre Haute, and the Greater Terre Haute
Chamber of Commerce. Earl and Jim serve the community and their industry through
their involvement in many professional and civic organizations.

partnership. According to Rodgers, "The Excitement is Building." And when he
says "building", he means more than brick and mortar. They want to build a
relationship with their customers too.
